Abstract
The paper describes the orbital velocity pattern generated by Bichromatic-Bidirectional waves (Bi-Bi waves), and investigate how the forced (long period) wave decays along the depth. Experiments conducted at a wave basin proved that the use of ADVs provided much better results than free surface elevations, due to the higher sensitivity of the instrument, as compared of the free surface measurements.References
