Abstract

The formulation of Isobe and Horikawa (1982) is modified and adapted for use in a probabilistic cross-shore transport model (CROSMOR). Computed changes of wave height, peak near-bed orbital velocity and depth-averaged return flow are compared to laboratory measurements. A comparison is made between computed and measured bedprofile changes for a large scale laboratory experiment.
