Abstract

A 2-D numerical model of bottom turbulent boundary layer is described. Trie nonlinear effects associated with wave asymmetry and the nonlinear interaction of waves and currents are taken into account. The model provides a relatively simple procedure for determination of both instantaneous and time-averaged quantities of velocity and friction inside the boundary layer.
